Possibly... At the same time, how many women have you seen driving those things to the grocery store? I've seen PLENTY.

No, not at all. Those "gas guzzlers" that you complain about fulfill other needs of drivers. Besides that, they were the primary cars for most of the 20th Century. Ever try to stuff people and luggage in a Toyota Corolla for a cross-country road trip? How about going off road with one? You can't do either one.

A lot of women use them as grocery getters too. Do women have the same hangup?
Actually it might have something to do with the fact that you can get one for a really good deal. People have gotten rid of them as fast as they can over the past few years due to the price of filling the tank. So as a result there has been a glut of used SUVs on the market making it even cheaper to pick one up.

Jane, I have always agreed with you but this time I take exception, as a over the road truck driver I traveled extensively through out the eastern United States and I have to tell you I have seen just as many woman driving the big boats. Sometimes by themselves with no passengers.

Well somebody's a size queen. But yes, I agree some men & women may feel the need to make up for their shortcomings with an extra large ride.

whatever, maybe they just like it or need it for work or to pull a trailor or something. I'm from Texas so I guess we tend to get defensive on this subject..but anyway I love my Yukon Denali and if someone has a problem with it then they can waste their time b!tching about it while I'm enjoying my life and my vehicle!!
