How do you pu pictures in your ipod?

I got the cable to conect the ipod to the computer. I conected it, then I went to my computer, then I clicked on the icon with my name, then I added pictures not to the calendar, notes or contacts but apart. Them I took the cable off and there still was 0 pictures...

when u connect it you ,have your pictures there on browse then just download them on to ur ipod!
