My dog peed in the back of my SUV and I have tried everything to get the smell out... Fantastic, Febreeze, carpet cleaner (i.e. Resolve), but now it just smells like urine and cleaner. The smell just won't go away. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Add 1 cup of hydrogen peroxide to 1 tbsp of baking soda. Add 1/2 tsp of dish soap and stir well. Apply this solution to the area with a sponge. Let dry and vacuum.

Hope this helps because nothing smells worse than urine in the carpet of your car, especially in the heat of the summer!

I am a professional carpet cleaner and we detail cars as well. About the only thing I have seen work for automobiles is ozone. This has to be professionally done with an ozone machine but it will work to eliminate any type of bacterial odor such as urine. It should work. Hope this helps.

Nurse : what I recommend is to open the car door let it air out
really good. Then take some paper towles wipe down wet spot
on carpet other wise make sure that dog never gets in car

its harder to get the smell out of a car than home cause the car stays outside locked up with no ventilation if you have done all that and nothing is better then i would call i professional car detailer they would know what to do i hope this helps :)

Try getting a towel & soak up the excess. Then get you some OdoBan. It works great, a cat sprayed in my house & that is what I used. I know they sell it at Sam's. If you don't have a way to get into Sam's, try Wallmart.

try using vinegar. Your SUV may smell like vinegar for a while but it will go out if you open the windows.

I would take it in to get it detailed. Ask them to use any strong pet urine removing product that they have.
