God is not a woman because when the bible was revised by the Romans, women were looked down behind. When the books of the bible were chosen the ones written by women and pieces of the bible about women with authority were taken out. Therefore, God was chosen to be a male and in reality...depending on if you are Christian or of really any religion, God has no sex. God is everything.

There is no proof that God is a male. Even the Bible says that God is NEITHER male nor female, and another passage says that God is BOTH male and female. (Depends which versions you read).
So why are people so freaked out about anything non-traditional when it comes to sexuality or the sexes? Man-made hang-ups!

from what i had heard god is supposed to appear as different things to different people...which means god could very well be a girl. god was a girl in the movie dogma-they had to get the idea somewhere!! i love kevin smith!!

God, not being human, is neither male nor female. It was just more convenient for the Bible's authors to refer to God as Him. If you would rather address God as Her, that would be just as accurate.

I've heard people say it was a she, some believe that. How do u know? They don't bleed, the bastards! But yes they get a male pms, it was proven. Course I think it's 24/7 compared w us.

who knows. but i think that people like to think that it is a man because people think men are more powerful than women because the don't get their time of the month.
