My fellow Republicans,
A commie/liberal told me that Dick Cheney, our great war-hawking VP, got 5 deferments to get out of Vietnam!!
I didn't believe it af first. Then I looked it up. Why would Cheney, that is so willing to send our soldiers to Iraq, not fight himself when he had the chance? Many liberals think he is a coward, and a hypocrite.
So in Vietnam he didn't want to fight for his nation, but he sent others to die in his place. I'm starting to get it.
I'm sorry my fellow Republicans, I'm afraid that I've been duped. If Cheney was too coward to fight, then maybe the war in Iraq...was based on lies too. I see now.
I'm leaving you my fellow Republicans and joining the Democrats. Sorry.

it is great that you now see the truth. even though it is a small speak of light. im glad to hear you are leaving the republicans for there hypocritical ways not to mention the lies and deciet. but to just switch blindly to democrats is very foolish of you. go investigate the truth about america not just about dick cheney or about george bush. but go back into the past and youll be mortified to learn the truth about our founding fathers. and if your not into history try and find out the truth about 9/11 and as you uncover the truth about that you will see why we are at war with iraq, and why this war on terror is really a holy war of terror.

You're a Democrat, probably always were, you're just moving farther left along with the radical element of the Democrat party. This is a pretty typical kind of Liberal tactic these days - lying and exaggerating are the only way they seem to be able make arguments. Tactics like the one you are using are the reason I rarely listen to Liberals anymore.

Yeah, that's humorous how his spouse coincidentally have been given pregnant a pair situations only whilst Dick had used up his deferments and mandatory to purchase it sluggish. He can communicate-the-communicate, yet he would not walk-the-walk.

Welcome, allthough I am not a democrat either, I choose to not vote for the simple fact there isn't ever a president worth voting for, allthough I do tend to side with democracy values. I think Bush was a pusssy to and didn't serve his country like he was suppose to

Frankly, the problems I have with Cheney are what he's done for the past 20 years, not what he did 40 years ago, plenty of people on both sides got deferments -- mainly becasue they didn;t want to get killed.
Also, deferrment = lies is not a rational arguement.
Not that Cheny isn't a liar. :)

Did Slick Willy serve?...... waiting..... waiting.... No, he dodged just fine. John Kerry tried to avoid Vietnam, and he only went after his petition for a deferral was denied. So enough of the pot calling the kettle black.
