It depends how long you've had it canned for. If it's been more than a week, throw it away.

that is a question you would submit to the mason jar place they should have an 800 number.

But I would say that the salt in the salsa is for taste. It is the canning process that makes it safe - heat plus vacuum.

As long as it "stays sealed" and doesnt "change colors" then it should be good.

If you open it and it doesnt "pop", or isnt hard to open, then I would pitch it.

Or, if the lid "pops" when you press in on it, before you open it, then toss it out.
