She may or may not be hemorrhaging.

She could be having something called a 'concealed placental abruption' where the placenta comes loose from the uterine wall, but the bleeding is trapped behind the uterus. It is very dangerous.

She needs to go get checked out. An ultrasound can show if she's having bleeding. Insist on an ultrasound to check and make sure.

Because if the baby is far enough along...and viability outside the womb with intervention IS possible at that 7th month, ...I even know two ladies whose babies were born during that month and are fine and dandy teens today...they have some options for what they could do to help that baby.

Call your OB now. Insist on an ultrasound. If you go to the hospital to get her checked out, insist on an ultrasound there to check the placenta to make sure there is no abruption or bleeding concealed behind the placenta.

When I say 'concealed' I mean that no blood actually will come out of your wife's body...it is trapped inside her behind the uterus...so no bleeding would be seen outside her body.

Good luck. It will be fine.

I have had 3 children and it normal to have some pain in her pelvic area but i haven't heard of any bruising of any sort you if i were your wife i would call my doctor or his nurse and explain to them what you are feeling and what is going on usually they can squeeze you in since she is in her third trimester .

it could just be a lack of vitamin or the baby shifting in positions that dont agree with her causing the pain and or bruising.
I dont think she is hemmoraging unless she starts to bleed.
But... when pregnant its ALWAYS better to be safe than sorry so if you have good insurance i would definately take advantage of it and get her in to the Doc asap to have it looked at.
Good luck!

are you still having sex with your wife? if you are you need to stop that may whats causing her bruising the further she has to spread her legs the more likely she will have bruising if she isnt spotting she may be able to wait till her next ob/gyn appt. if she is she needs to go to the ER now to rule a miscarriage out sometimes over exertiation will cause some cramping and bleeding
