why would people be so mean about other people i feel that some goths punks and freaks are normal just like you!!!!!

You can't be a part of one society while following the rules of another. You have to decide which side you want.
If they are so much like me, why do they go out of their way to be so UNLIKE me?

As a self-identified "freak", I'd rather you didn't call me normal. It's an insult. Normal is highly overrated, and extremely boring besides. If I consider myself a freak, why would I want to be classified as anything less than unusual?
Normal is a word for sheep.
Furthermore, rather than calling people on their tendencies to act inconsiderately towards "goths" and "punks", I think its better to attempt to get rid of those stereotypes. I love punk music- real punk music, not most modern ****- and I like to include elements of the style in my clothing choices, for fun, and for the shock value, but I don't consider myself punk. I refuse to stereotype myself, because it stinks too much of coloring between the lines- I didn't do it in preschool, and I won't do it now. Freak to me is just eccentric, unusual, weird and a little bit crazy. That I can live with.
But I get what you're saying. And its a nice sentiment. Narrow minded people are full of ****- they piss me off more than anything else.

You are right. People shouldnt judge anyone from the way they look on the outside. Some people have nothing beter to do with thier life. They dont feel good about themselves..so they have to put others down. Just as long as you stay friends with them,,and never judge them for thier appearence,then you are better them all them others puttin them down right?? So you have a consience when you go to sleep at night...that you treat everyone with respect. Good for you...dont let ignorance bother you.

yeah let people be who they are and if its not for you so be it move on..its your life so live it how you feel you deserve you should..everyones free to express themselves thats what makes life so brilliant..all the differences between us all and each special to thier own...love individualism not each one the same......
