I believe you are talking about hard drive space, correct?
If so, open "My Computer" then right click on your C: drive and click Properties and you will see the information.

By memory, do you mean hard drive space? If so, go to a window explorer window, or to My Computer. If C is your drive letter (it usually is by default), right click on the "local disk " or "C" icon, and select properties. A window should pop up showing a graphical and literal representation of how much space you have left. If you are at an explorer window and don't see your local disk icon, try pressing the "up" button until you can. It's the one that show a folder with a green arrow pointing up, near the top by the menu. If you really meant memory, it's dynamic, and it depends on how many applications you have open, etc. Hope this helps.

Press ctrl + Alt + Delete all at the same time to bring up Task Manager. Click the Performance tab and read your availible memory under Physical Memory (K).

Download a little program called Everest Home Edition. It will give you any information you need about your entire laptop with details, serial numbers, available memory etc..etc..its endless and complete.

I use belarc.com, it will show all the info about your computer on one page. It goes into detail about hardware and software installed.
