i have a light with a wattage of i think 75...

I would suggest getting a thermometer to determine what the temp is with the light you have. You can then adjust the wattage of the lamp accordingly.
These geckos need access to a basking area of approximately 88F and the temperatures should drop as one moves away from the basking area.
Night temperatures can go into the low 70's

I have a lot of leapord geckos and i use a 50 -75 one for my a 10 gallon

mine with a 10 gallon tank and only one gecko is 75 watt

how big is your tank? I have 2 brown basalisks in a 70 gallon, and I only use a single 100W heat lamp...over a basking stone...
