So are they suppose to teach you things you already know?
I don't think so.

Well best of luck in the sport you get to play. However, sports are not everything but can be the best help for someone that doesnt do so well inside the classroom. Most places where you go to school you must keep a C or at the very least D average. That will make you motivated to do better in your classes if you like playin on the team.
Personally, growing up i hated school still do to this day. Yet, the only time i did my best was when i was in sports and in other activities the more involved you are the more you realize you have to get your work done, rather than putting it to the side.
Well again best of luck, which class is so hard for you now?

What are your study habits like -- how can they be improved? Can you get extra help from teachers or a tutor?
A lot of atheletes do better with school because they have to be disciplined and organized. So see this as an opportunity to learn some of these skills -- you'll appreciate it when you're juggling a career and all the rest. Pay attention in class (you have to be there anyway; make the most of it). Set aside an hour (or two or whatever you need) to study each day, and do it. Use the sports as a motivation to keep you going -- every assignment and exam is for you and your game.
Good luck.

If you think school is hard wait till you graduate and have all the other pressures of the "real world". One thing I don't think we teach enough in our school systems is the reality that awaits students when they graduate...that's the real tough stuff!
As for your question I would suggest strongly that you actually do your homework and complete the assignments that teachers give you. I've found that the best students aren't the ones who are the smartest, but are the ones who have figured out how to "play school" the best. They take notes, follow instructions, complete work, and ask for help when they need it. Sports should be a good enough motivator for you, but if they are not, just think of school as a stepping stone to the rest of your life. You'll be happy that you got something out of it while you were there!

Have to change attitude to a more positive one.
What kind of life will you have without a proper education?
Job and career earning satisfaction.
Develop (acquire) good study habits.
Put aside adequate time each day to get homework and study done.
Sports are great. But you'll need balance between school and play.
You won't be young forever but your life surely can be miserable.
Learn young.
Making a life is more important than making a living.
You'll see that point soon enough.
Someday you'll probably be a parent.
What you pass down to your children can be good or bad.
A negative life drives people away from you and spills over into
whatever Job you have.
Positive can do attitude and ability are winners.
I won't hire losers and downers.

if u kept on sayin that school is hard and u hate it then ur goin nowhere...
These are the steps and hopefully it helps u:
stay focus in ur classes dont daydream while ur teacher is talkin bout things u find boring or the way he talks is borin u.
take notes dont miss any of ur classes
do ur homeworks on time
if u dont understand something ask ur teacher and still u dint understand go to him/her over again til u understand it
these thins will impress ur teachers, it makes u the perfect student specially if u dont give them hard time...
and for ur sport thing u have to make a time table,
plan ur days and dont waste ur time...
trust me no one is stupid in this world, they r just lazy...
if u put ur time and mind in to something u will achieve it and get what u want...
the most important of all stay positive all the time...

Are there any tutoring centers in your area? If so, they may be able to help you get a handle on whatever it is that's making school so tough for you.
Barring that, talk with your parents about how tough it is for you; they can be pretty good tutors themselves sometimes! :-) Good luck!

School has to be hard to be worth it. If they just let you breeze through like it was nothing...you would know nothing. You really don't want to be a dumb adult. Look around...you see dumb people, think of how they did in school. Knowledge is power.
