Any 1 can get these even men but does happen to women after the birth because of the straining that was involved in labour but the best thing to do is have plenty of fibre in your diet and this will help with straining you can buy over the counter creams now to help them go or ask your dr to prescribe good luck

I got a hemorrhoid from pushing the baby out. It was the worst part of my recovery and took over a month to go away. You would be able to feel something like a lump in the area if you had them. And anyone can get them at anytime and can pop up when you are constipated. Get a tube of Preparation H if it continues if that does not work you may need to bite the bullet and call the doctor and find out what is going on.

Sure, this can happen at any time. I found out the biggest culprit for me was spending too much time on the toilet. Since I had a kid, one of the only sanctuaries in the house is in my bathroom, so I spent waaaaay too long sitting on the toilet, not actually doing anything except reading or doing my nails or whatnot, and I found out that's REALLY bad for hemorrhoids, just hanging out on the toilet like that.

Eat your fiber, drink your water, do your business quickly! Good luck!

Yes they can become uncomfortable after birth, because you have strained that area during birth. Be careful though try taking a mild laxitive because if you strain to much while having your bowel movment you can cause them to bleed, wich can be pretty scary..

It can happen at any time, at any age, to anyone.

Make sure you are getting enough fiber-rich foods in your diet and LOTS of water! If you continue to have problems, discuss it with your doctor.
