I have been married 3 times, the first time I married to get out of the house at 18 ( big mistake). the second time age 28, I married a guy that I think actually made a better friend than husband, the third one I have been married to for almost 5 years, and yes, we have our ups and downs, but, he is my best friend and I love him so much. I hope to never ever be without him.

Most of us think that the person we are with is the person we love. I had several boyfriends, thought I was in love, but I never actually fell in love until I met my husband when we were in high school together. We started dating in 1998, got married in 2003 and had our first child in 2004. We have been together for over 8 years and I don't see us ever being apart.

I got married when I was 19 and he 24. We stayed married almost 27 years and it was NOT good! I was too young and too stupid to discern what love really is. It took me well into my 40's to get a divorce and find my NOW husband whom I am so in love with its often scary. Scary because I have never felt this way before. Its so different from my 1st husband. With my husband now there is respect, laughter, tears, fun and if we fight he NEVER hits below the belt as my 1st husband did. I told my husband that this is it and he will be the last. Even though I'm 49, if something, God forbit, happens to him, I'll die. He and I are THAT connected. Its like a dream, seriously.

I have had several relationships and I can proudly say that I married the love of my life. We've been together for the past 5yrs and I cannot be any happier. Although I thought at some points that my other relationships were important I was just inflactuated.
The hard thing is distinguishing between passion, inflactuation and actual love. But deep inside you know who the one really is .

You got me smiling now as I look back. ;o) I was with him from 14 until I was 17. We had the type of relationship that whenever a new girl came to town he broke up with me to see if he could get her to go out with him. So I'm thankful we never married since it would have been expensive getting a divorce every time he saw another who he wanted to take out. ;o) Plus I found a man that actually showed me the respect one needs for a relationship to last in the first place. ;o) Plus I'm not stupid as I was then.

I didn't marry my first love. He dumped me when his ex came back to town. Then she dumped him. He got drunk and drove off a cliff. I got married to the first person that was great to me. But it was an abusive marriage. I am now living with a man that I have know for 27 years, we have been together for almost 3 years.

My first love was killed in an auto accident. I married my second love, and that lasted 18 years. Now, I'm married to my LAST love, and we've been together for 14 years.
