There is a little mouse running around my house. I have been trying to lure him out so my cat can get it. She had it this morning but you know how cats love to play with things...she lost it....so i have set her near the lure...but what are some things that mice really love!....it's not that we have an unclean house but i live in kansas and it's starting to cool off outside the field mice sneak in...thanks!!!

Mice like to follow along safe trails, like against the wall. So set a trap with a cotton ball and some peanut butter along a couple walls. It will want the cotton for bedding and will try to lick off the peanut butter for food. This works very well. Good luck.

They go nuts over peanut butter. Use a mouse trap baited with peanut butter placed near a wall in a dark isolated corner where the mouse will feel safe. Don't bother with the cat. Mousers are few and far between these days, because cats aren't hungry like they were on the farm back in the day.

Ok. I do know what it's like to have mice even though you have a clean house. I live in apartments so I can't control it. I read online somewhere that they like starches. Also, the sticky mouse traps work, but since you have a cat, I'm not sure how that would work. They stick to everything. That's how I had to catch my mouse. It worked. Try those if you can keep your cat away from it.

Just buy a mouse trap and bait it with small piece of cheese. Place in the location where you think the mouse entered your home. Check for small openings around plumbing pipes and other holes. Be sure and place trap along the wall. Mice seldom run across rooms.

May I suggest leaving a hamster cage open only through the small hole on the side, always ready to attract all the mice to that certain area with a little food in there, to keep their appearances contained where you can see it. That way it will be more entertaining and cute rather than annoying =)
we have hamsters, I hope your cat doesn't get him lol

try bacon. personally, I wouldn't let my cat catch the mouse unless I knew for sure that no one in the neighborhood was using poison.
