Try this shaving oil and see if the black color goes away. Use it for your leggs as well. It's called Soypete's Shaving Oil.

Try shaving at night and using cocoa butter afterwards with no deodorant. Use the deodorant in the morning. Could be a combination of deodorant and razor burn.

What color did it start out?

If you are using a commercial shaving product, they probably have a consumer help line. Call them.

Try washing with a mild cleanser and a wash cloth and see if they look normal.

You are probably of an ethnic background that has darker skin...I am half Filipino and my mom, who is full Filipino has the same darkening in the armpits and of the knees. It never happened to me though. I think you could probably ask your dermatologist and they can suggest something. Good luck...and you aren't weird, it does happen to other people too!
