Suppose a community proposes a law to require the wearing of seatbelts in all moving vehicles. How could science play a role in the decision?

first it already has. Scientist have to do studies to see how the car will react to several different types of accidents, like head on, side ways rolling, hit in the rear and so forth.

Statistical evidence maybe. Tabulate wrecks and show if there are more, less, or no difference in the number and severity of injuries with and without seatbelt use.

by having cameras in all vehicles and the police will noticed who has a seat belt or not, by a mtion scenser when u clik the seat belt, and the car will not start if u dunt have a seatbelt.or if u take it off will driving it will tell the police that it has gotten taken off....thats my opinion.....PICK ME FOR BEST ANSWER!!!!
