Flocking is the semi-random motion of a group of birds in flight, which is used for various types of computer-modeling.

Flocking is also the addition of materials onto the outside of an object, such as trim on a dress or fake snow sprayed onto a christmas tree.

"Flocking" is also a word substituted for another, less polite word when a movie is edited for television, as in "I'm going to kick your flocking @ss!"

also, some wall paper is flocked. It is a pattern that has a raised, cheap velvety feel to it.

i don't know if it has multiple meanings but it's that often green, velvety, felt-like stuff (that isn't felt) on the bottom of things like mantle clocks or statues so they won't scratch whatever surface they're on. it's put on with paint and it's sprayed, or puffed on. it's like little fibers. felt is also used on the bottom of things. i'm talking about the stuff that feels more like a layer of velvet.
