.The bone marrow responsible for the production of both the white and red cells the white cells produce antibodies while some actively phagocytose i.e. engulf and dissolve bacteria and other pathogens. Wipe out a man's marrow, his immune system collapses Though the spleen is important in immunity to some bacteria and parasites ,it could be removed without much of life threatening conditions.

The lymph glands are the body's first line of defense. Immune cells are found inside the lymph glands.

I'm going to go with the skin. It is an organ, contrary to what a lot of people think, and it is the first line of defense against invasive organisms. If the organism cant get ino our body, it cant hurt us
