Through these years I have learned that 2 angry people talking at each other doesn't bring them anywhere. I have also learned to look and see things from other people's standpoint. In an argument, this helps me to understand why the other person is mad/ upset. Instead of continuously trying to prove my point, I let the other person speak his/ her mind. The very fact that I let that person express his/ her mind makes that person settle, calm and cool down . . . then I can express my side afterwards. A peaceful communication could better lead to a resolution.

My ego gets the best of me most of the time unless I know deep down that I was not in the right then I will own up. But if there is a little bit of evidence that I was right I stick to it!

i will say i`m wrong when i am just so things can calm down and start a new. egos can ruin even the best relationship when they are out of control and admitting when one is wrong is always the right direction to go

If I'm in the wrong I try to admit it as soon as possible. Too much is lost by trying to hold onto the fallacy of "being right."

I always own up to my mistakes or when I've picked a fight for no reason or argued over something stupid. It may take a minute for me to get it...but I eventually do and I own up to it.

I try to be honest and say when I'm wrong and say sorry. I am human so my pride does get in the way at times.

It's hard, but I try to own up. Holding grudges doesn't do anyone a bit of good.

Always...I think it takes far more courage to admit your mistakes and make amends than it does to try to cover them up... and in the end, what's the point?

I always say sorry if I'm in the wrong, it can be hard, especially when I think I'm in the right.

I own up. I didn't use to, but now I don't really care. I don't like to argue these days.
