Don't you trust the person well enough to ask? If you must go behind that person's back, then you have no business with that person. What's the big deal?

Contact the department of vital records under the department of health of the city and state the person may have married/divorced.

ask them point blank. say i do not date married men / women..so i would like an honest answer. ask other folks that might know. are you allowed to call this person at their home..and to know their address. are they around during holidays... are they wearing a ring..or have a ring line on finger. what articles do you see in their vehicle.. if they say no and you still feel the need to check on a website..this is definately not the right person you should be considering dating.

why not ask? If not possible you can check with vital statistics in the town they may have married or divorced in. I do not know what documentation you may need to access this information (dates or whatevers) BUT marriage and divorce records are public records.

Try the town they live in, check property records. If you know where they live scope out the house to see if they are in a relationship. Court papers will say if they are divorced.

Are you stalking someone? Why would you have to sneak around to find out if they're married, just ask THEM!

Have someone call his telephone number and ask for the "lady of the house"? There is no website . . . but you could always hire a private detective to check it out . . . or you could try one of the online detective programs (but it is my experience that they are not always accurate).

you could just get mature and ask them! why would they lie? if they tell you they are married (and you find out they aren't), then they just don't want to get involved. if they tell you they are divorced (and you find out they are still married), they are trouble anyway
