why are there only urban myths, are there any rural or rustic ones??

i havent heard of any, correct me if i'm wrong

even if an urban myth is about driving along a country road, getting out of car then...etc etc, it was in the country, so why do we bumpkins still call it an urban myth??

The rural ones are Shaggy Dog Stories...as in Old English Sheep Dogs...geddit?

I think it's possibly a generic term. Many of these myths are rustic and rural if not all.
