buy a nice cut outfit. that would be the best cause a lot of people will already buy diapers. Or buy the baby a toy.

Also you could buy a photo album or one of those boxes for baby memories.

Another idea is buy a locket and put a picture of her and the baby after it is born.

Or you could buy a gift set with baby products like shampoo and stuff.

If you cant do any of that a card is never a bad option.

Generally the baby gift clothes taper off around 9 months or a year. Up until that point, you have drawers and drawers of clothes people have given you. So if you buy clothes, buy a larger size and in a few months your aunt will be delighted to have something new again. As for other gifts, I always give books--board books, hardcover books, books the baby will grow into and hopefully treasure all throughout childhood. Books are always a big hit at showers, especially if you choose strange and wacky ones instead of the (dull) classics.

diapers wipes towels washclothes blankets clothes in bigger sizes (when you have a baby lots of poeple give you 0-3 months clothes, then you have a whole lot in that size and then have to buy alot of the bigger sizes yourself. If you give bigger sizes then not only is she not overwhelmed with too many 0-3 months clothes, but she already has some for later.)

Also if you plan to give diapers ask what brand of diaper she is planning to use, so that you get the right brand for she. Some people prefer different brands. Like for my boy I use huggies because they are fitted more to boys than girls, and for any girls I will have I will use pampers or luvs because they are more fitted to girls. Why I do not know but experienced it myself and know lots of parents with the same problems.

anything practical is good. i've found that buying clothes can be tricky. i bought my girlfriend clothes for her newborn and he wa so fat that he couldnt even wear newborn clothes, he was already like in the 18 mo.+ clothes. so target has this Johnson& Johnson basket full of things she can use which i think is nice. it has like the wash, lotion, oil, and some more things - all of J&J products. you can get bath cloths, a baby robe (that's usually i think in one size), booties, hat,

babies are expensive. so i figure aunt is going to love anything that will help her spend less $ in the long run.

Anything practical. Diapers, wipes shampoo, baby body wash.
Sleepers, wash clothes, crib sheets.

Congratulations!

You could get her a gift certificate for a Pregnancy Massage...ahhh they are wonderful and most spas offer them. As for the baby, if she has a registry..see what she needs and choose from there. If not, then diapers, wipes and gift cards for such items are always usable and appreciated!

See if she is registered anywhere then you can make it easier and get her something from her registry.
