i like it - its unusual. ron howard's daughter is named bryce dallas.

Im sorry, but I think Dallas is a boys name. maybe its just me.
and dont forget, just becase it goes good with kelly doesnt make it a winner, its not like anyones going to be going around calling her Dallas Kelly all in one breath. it'll just be Dallas. If I were a girl named Dallas I would probably go by my middle name.

I don't like that name. Kelly is alright for a middle name, but I don't like the name Dallas at all.

Depends how liberal the school system is where she will attend school. Will there be lots of kids with strange names, or will your daughter be the only one targeted? Movie stars can get away with giving their kids weird names, but for the rest of us it's difficult. And your daughter will likely spend most of her life explaining to people who have never met her that she is a girl, especially since Kelly could be a boy name, too.

Never heard Dallas for a girls name. But I guess you can be different. Try and think "will she like this name when she is all grown up?"
I live in Dallas so i don't think you should name your kid after a city you live in....but you might not live in Dallas.

I like it! Of course, I'm partial to the name Kelly (me!).... Actually you don't see the name Kelly a whole lot anymore, but you see plenty of bastardizations of it: Kayleigh, Kylee, etc. Ugh.
And Dallas is cute!

you know you might like to call her Dallas but she probably won't like it herself! Take me for example, my name really is mugwump and everybody takes the p*ss out of me for it.... you should see the look on their faces....
So I'm trying to discourage you.... on the other hand I will make some suggestions, how about Rebbecca! no? Juliana Felicity Rafaela Mariana Catherine Rachel Sandra Jasmine Monica Donatella Anastasia or Natasha, OK I give up if you remotely liked any of those names I would be honoured if you told me via email.If not.... Dallas kelly it is then... the important thing is you're all happy!
