You can do this with some simple algebra and D=R*T formula.

First, how long to get to the bridge?
D = 40 miles
R = 50 miles/hour
T = time in hours

D = R * T
40 = 50 * T
T = 40/50
T = 4/5 of an hour
4/5 * 60 = 48 minutes

So it takes 48 minutes to the bridge, 18 minutes through the toll plaza and across the bridge, 30 minutes to the theater and 25 minutes to park and get inside.

That's a total of 121 (48 + 18 + 30 + 25) minutes. This is 2 hours and 1 minute (2 * 60 + 1)

You want to be there no earlier than 6:40pm (20 minutes before 7pm). So leave 2 hours and 1 minute earlier.

That means leave at 4:39pm.

Getting from your house and into the theater will take you 2 hours and 1 minute ....

driving 40 miles at 50 mph ..... 48 minutes
crossing the bridge ................ 18 minutes
driving after the bridge ........... 30 minutes
parking and seating ............... 25 minutes
total ...................................... 121 minutes = 2 hours and 1 minute

So, to be seated in the theater at 7:00 you should leave at 4:59

To get there 20 minutes early you should leave at 4:39

I wouldn't take that route. I'd fly my personal helicopter and land on the roof of the theatre.
