I'm assuming you mean "lost" in the sense that they've died? If so, I'd absolutely go on, because to give up would be a disservice to my soul mate, and not what they'd want to see me do. I would go on to honor them and cherish the memories and time we had together.

Tough question. Suicide is not an option, so I would have to say one of us would go on. We haven't addressed this, but I am sure we would want the other to go on, if for no better reason than for one could live on for the other. Them? How many soul mates are we talking about? I am not Mormon. I only have one soul mate. Neither one of us would give up. We have twin nine year olds. If one of us goes before the other we would live to take care of them. This question is rather reflective and introspective. Where are the girlfriends, beavers and penguins, and of course, mothers-in Law?

No you mustn't give up ever - life is precious and you must make the best of it and work at overcoming the setbacks.
It won't be easy but remember time is a great healer.
Take one step at a time and you will eventually get there. Start off by striving to make new friends by joining a club that involves an interest of yours, if you are religious church is a good way to make friends. Get involved in voluntary projects, try to keep busy helping others and you will appreciate that many are in difficult situations and your own circumstances will not appear to be so overwhelming as you can always find someone worse off than yourself. This may sounds harsh but isn't meant to be.
Wish you all the best for your future hapiness. God Bless.

There’s no soul mates here together; just kindred souls. Your soul mate stays in Heaven, or on the other side, until we go back.

I don't believe in soul mates and what other option do you have but to go on...sure it hurts like hell when you lose someone you love, but life goes on and someday (I am hoping) someone better will come along ;)

I don't believe in soul mates. It would be hard to lose someone you care for but in most cases you know they wouldn't want you to break down and refuse to go on.
