I loved New Moon. But I LOVED Twilight. I can see why some readers might not *like* it as well--especially if they're big Edward fans--but I can see why Stephenie Meyer introduced the conflict that she did. I mean if they started the book happily ever after and never had any problems, never fought, never disagreed, and everything was just wonderfully perfect day after day...week after week...that might not be the most exciting read. There has to be drama. I've read the book twice though so that may be why I feel more "at peace" with the book. I admit it was a little shocking the first time through--there were definitely things I didn't expect. Sometimes a second reading or second viewing of a movie will put things in perspective though.
