I want to ask this girl to the homecoming dance. I don't know how i want to approach her. Any ideals?

If you want to soften the blow or reduce the risk of rejection talk to a couple of her friends. Ask them is she going with anyone? Ask them if they think she would consider going with you? When you do ask her u can use the below as an idea on what to say:We will call her HCA for Home Coming Angel :)

HCA: No/ no are you?
U: Well no the girl I want to go with hasn't ask me yet.(Laugh laugh!) Would you ever consider going with a Sophmore?
HCA: Depends on who it is
U: What about me...Would you go with this sophmore. Cuz you know I can't just keep waiting for you to ask me. Just picking...I was planning on asking you.

At this point you pull a flower from behind your back. Pink rose or another pretty type of flower(not a red rose)

Well my friend- first, you gotta know if you're in good with this girl or not. A blind ask out can be a little jarring.

If you decide you've got the low down with your sweetheart, then take the direct approach- "I like you, will you go to the dance/game/recital/rodeo with me?" The event really doesn't matter. The key is confidence.

The confidence comes from building the relationship before you wanna get to that rodeo or whatever.

Good luck, and remember- if she says no, don't worry. There are plenty of fish in the sea. Though I've never seen anyone take an Albacore to homecoming.

Well I say you should get to know her better. Then, get her to satrt to hang out with you. do not wait to the last minute. If she rejects you just get over it somewhere in the year a beautiful girl will ask u or you may ask them to go the homecoming dance. Think of the good things you might mot get rejected.GOOD LUCK

if u already know her and speak to her on a daily basis, its quite simple.... you can go upto her and kind of drop a hint that you dont have a date yet...... and then ask her if shes gotta date..... if she has too bad but if she doesnt you could jestingly ask her if she would go out with you.... if she takes it in good humour and reponds somewhat positively then you could look for the correct moment and ask her directly.if she doesnt take it that well then you will have to be more cautious,and pray and hope for a perfect moment to spring when shes most likely to say yes to you......
now,if you dont know her well.....then you could hang out with her more often.... make some good eye contact,smile and show her what a gentleman you are.....then you could talk about the weather remarking how beautiful it is and how twilight makes you think about life[girls dig this stuff] and be more mature cause shes a senior.....then you could get her talkin about herself and really impress her ........... and tell her 1nce or twice that you think she looks very pretty....praise her a little......then you can ask her for her number and give her a call a few days later,talk about casual stuff and in passing mention that you dont have any one for the dance and before you hang up.... ask her..... hopefully,she will say yes.... :-)

When I was in high school (only 10 years ago) we used to ask people to dances in creative ways.

Find out how to get into her locker through a friend and leave a note with a rose. Or leave it on her car. Send her a message in a bottle in class. Write it on her driveway with sidewalk chalk. I've got a million of 'em, but those are really easy ones. It is important to check your idea out with friends or on yahoo to be sure it is "cute" and not corny. It's a fine line.

just go up to her and ask straight up. it also depends on how much you know her. if you don't know her too well, talk about something you know she is interested in first.

well, you can do the classic "hey, can i talk to you for a bit?" the pull her aside and ask her and when she sez yes give her a big hug. or if u rele wanna go out there u can like bake her sumthin w a note baked in it asking her to hc (my bro did this and it worked w flying colors). figure out her personality and go from there.
