Depending on the city and state you are in, there are many government programs that can help; also, many church and civic organizations will help, usually on a one-time emergency basis. Beyond that, you need to get a job . . . or a better job? . . . or start some sort of business with low . . . or no . . . startup costs such as the one I started many years ago -- the "one man's junk is another man's treasure" type of business! Anyway, if you get in touch with more information, perhaps can help.

get room-mates............that are not friends. I lost everything after a divorce.......I am the happiest and least stress-free person I know. I live minimally and have nothing to loose and pay cash for everything or I don't buy it. I have no debts at all and rent a small
one room studio.......but it looks adorable, clean and homey. I have everything I need....and nothing I don't. I sleep well at night.
