Yes - actually I can. Not on a constant basis but it is because I am an empath. Empaths have the ability to scan another's psyche for thoughts and feelings or for past, present, and future life occurrences. . Empaths are highly sensitive which is a blessing and a curse, believe me. Empaths have a deep sense of knowing that accompanies empathy and are often compassionate which brings some very broken and questionable characters into my life.

I can not do it a lot but there have been times where I unentionally pick up whats going on in my bfs mind, He does the same for me too he does it more often then I do, Its funny when it comes to small things like once we went to go get food but I wasnt feeling well so I decided to stay in the car and as soon as he shut his door I though crap I dont have the newest cosmo (my bible lolz) and when he came out he had gotten it ... He told me he had picked up on it so he grabed it when he was in the store

I can depending on the person some people have walls up and you can't read them but most of the time I can tell what a person is thinking it is a cool gift some of the time

It's certainly possible for people to. It's called telepathy. My mother-in-law and sister-in-law are both telepathic and have entire conversations in silence, LOL. I am not telepathic, persay, although I read Tarot and can often pick up on surprisingly personal, specific information about people and their pasts. I give free readings over the internet. i will already do both. yet lots of the time it takes so a lot extra attempt to study and administration my own ideas. If i changed into busy each and each of the time reading and controlling human beings my own ideas would fall into disrepair.
