Maybe you could sign up with a techie temp agency like Spherion or Genesis. That would give you some experience in technology and you could job hunt at the same time!

It's really hard to get a new job with no experience in the IT market, since there is a surplus of workers with experience. The best way is to try and network. Go through friends and family and see if they know anyone who is hiring. It took my husband a year to get a position that was relevant to his degree, so don't give up hope even if it isn't happening yet!

You will have to create your own experience. Just hang out in real estate offices and mortgage companies. They are amongst the last of all businesses to utilize computers. Even though you are right out of school and you do not have a whole lot of knowledge, you probably have more information than they do. Then after a few months, you can put on your resume that you have experience in the industry.

Good luck. CSC the company I work for hires entry level people for help desks sometimes. It is really tough out there. You may not get a job in your field at first.

No. Try getting in at a place asking for less money, gain experience, then you can get a better job after you have experience.
