I only read a brief transcript but it appears to have done the trick with the audience and i am glad to hear he has a moral compass on which he has based his political career. We shall see when he become leader and PM.

I sat and listened to the whole of his speech. He showed some passion for once. He said little new. As Blairs number two for 10 years he has to take part of the responsibility for all that was wrong with the Blair government. Like all politicians he can say what we want to hear as the election for leader comes up. After he can do what he wants. With the alternative Fly-boy Dave he had an opportunity. He wasted it.

All the crap that he was spouting about what he would do and the things he would put right were a bit rich as he caused most of them - and can I please have my pension back or give me one like the bloated Public Sector workers get - mind you I still won't vote for New McLabour - I'd rather vote for a turnip on a stick - at least the turnip doesn't mass produce lies!

A Boring , Rambling Load of "Brownspeake" he was probably thinking up a few new "Stealth Taxes " as he was ranting on about his "Methodist" upbringing , another Load of Bollocks raining down on the Politically WEARY British Public , is there no RELIEF ?

I thought it was a good speech. Pity a lying Bloomberg reporter had to hijack the day. He deserves a chance for Prime Minister, he has waited so long.
