It seems so. And that's strange becuase 75-80 years ago, alot of people never went to school. Nowadays, with things like the internet at most people's fingertips, you'd think we'd be a society of geniuses. But we're not. I can't believe that some of the people I've run into over the years haven't been killed by their stupidity. And they're the ones running things!!!

Yea, I think there is a gap that is widening between the normal folk and the really stupid ones. And sometimes people "play dumb" to manipulate those at the lower end of the intelligence spectrum.

Society in generally is getting smarter (slowly), but one consequence of the internet and its ability to instantly spread news & information is that now you get a much clearer impression of just how dumb the dumbest people are! Even a mere 20 years ago, you might never hear about the really stupid accidents really stupid people had unless they had them in your town. Now, a man can slip on the ice and knock himself out in New Zealand, drowning as the cat's water bowl melts, and the news of it spreads across the whole planet in mere hours.

I think we are becoming less resourceful

People say that boredom is when creativity ignites. With so many resources at our fingertips, we have no time to get bored, or be creative and come up with new ideas, or be geniuses for that matter.
