My wife is going to visit her parents and she says she will most likely run into an old BF while she's there. She said that it would be okay if I hooked up with a woman while she's gone as long as it's a one night stand. Is she telling me it's okay for us to have an open marriage because we have talked about that subject often?

Sounds like she's gonna do the ex bf. If she's gonna, why don't you. BEWARE: The relationship is over. Good Luck!

She either wants you to tell her no she can't see him or she telling you in a coy way she's planning on sleeping with him. I would bet it the first. Try putting your foot down and tell her that if she does the marriage is over. If she says "F you", then find a really hot woman or someone she would be jealous of(even if you have to pay her) and make sure she's at your house when your wife comes home, and even if you don't do anything w/ her. Your wife will be pissed but you can just say, "Well wifey, you said you wanted an open marriage." She will never bring it up again. I know because my ex-g/f used to play the same game.

If your sex life is routine and predictable see if maybe she want do a 3-some with you and another guy or w/ you and another woman.

its very nice that you two want an open marriage, but i will tell you that if you start having "one night stands", there will be complications. She is probably saying that you can hoook up while she is out of town, because she wants to hook up with the old b/f. Its a sticky situation, but I wish you luck.

Ask your wife outright...."Is it okay for us to have an open marriage?" Get right to the point and don't beat around the bush...no pun intended.

Just be sure that you realize you are playing with fire when it comes to situations like these...ultimately, emotions get involved and that could be a cause for disaster!

No. She's telling you that she's planning on hooking up, and that you being faithful to her will make her guilty. If you're participating in this farce, she doesn't have to feel bad about her bad choices.

Having other people involved in your relationship will complicate things between the two of you. You'll be miserable in short order if you don't nip this in the bud.

It's a test. Of course not! Unless of course it's her way of telling you it will be over soon. Women are very jealous people. I really don't think that would be a smart thing. If you do end up spliting due to that, she could get you in court for infidelity. Be careful!

Don't guess what she's saying! Ask her what she's talking about. This should be an open conversation and down to detail what's going on.

If she loves you, it will be no hanky-panky going on. If you think that's what she's talking about (open-marriage), this should be discussed more and perhaps getting counseling.

You know better then that. She wants to sleep with the ex boy friend and try not to feel guilt. Open relationships are dangerous territory. If you love your wife, keep away from them.
