The govt spokeperson says the monday holiday would cost them 50 billion and it makes sense to make it the 24th(sunday) for economical reasons,,
Do you think that a scandal or do you agree with them??

Thats is so stupid I think people are forgetting Christmas is for Jesus's birthday it is the 25 th not 24 th

is everyone in this country forgeting that this is a christian country and the 25th is a christian holiday and i think it is scandalous next thing we will all be told to work on christmas day its time we all stood up against the labour government and get them out for good they are ruining this country.

TOTAL SCANDAL!!!! Christmas isn't about "economical reasons" Christmas is about family, friends, and celebrating the Christian holiday. It shouldn't be about the government being able to afford "holiday" pay. It is just one more way of trying to take the "Christ" out of "Christmas..." it sickens me.

Yes but everyone wants to get rid of Christmas and this seems like a step towards it in the UK.

Where exactly did you here this? I think whoever gave you this information is pulling your leg. Christmas is very much still going ahead as normal this year, and I doubt very much that it will shrink in the future.

It is their choice, if their economy can't bear the burden of the holiday go ahead.
