I have a leak in my fuel tank. However, it only leaks when my tank is more than half full. There is no problem when it is half full or less. Is it dangerous for me to continue to drive it as long as I keep the tank below half?

You already know the answer. If fuel leaks, than so does fuel vapor. Vapor is more volatile than the fluid gasoline. You are an accident looking for a place to blow up. Please stop driving this car and get it repaired. It could be as simple as the rubber evap hose on the top of the tank. Why risk your life for this?

Most fuel tanks have seams about the middle of the tank. The seam is probably leaking. And yes it is dangerous to drive with a fuel leak. Also it's illegal. Have another tank installed. You should be able to get one from a salvage yard.

It's not safe. Vapor could be coming out of the hole, and that's not good if a spark happens. Find the hole and plug it up. I had that problem, and used silicone rubber caulk. LOL.
