We do. Plenty of them: ABC, QVC no doubt, NBC, CNN, CBS, (OK not the WB), PBS obviously, (none of the ESPNs), the TVGUIDE Channel, (not Telemundo, or Univision), CMT, No question about COURT TV, No self respecting Africian Americian or Asian person would waste time watching Hallmark or Game Show Networks, watching 'The History Channel would lead you to believe that there were no Indians before we (europeans) got to North America & slavery... The Travel Channel should be renamed 'The European Travel Channel' they seldom mention the middle east or Asia & they would love to describe the 'Tecora' as a cruise liner, and TV Land's line-up is mostly: Gunsmoke, Bonanza, 'Andy Griffith', 'Leave it to Beaver, 'Little House on the Praire', 'Three's Company', 'I love Lucy' and the very proudly bigotted 'All in the Family'.

I think we have plenty of plenty of 'WET Channels'. BET is proud enough to to label it what it is entertainment television.

Seriously, why should Blacks & other minorities be the only ones allowed to have a channel just for them. Where they can exploit the white man. Those darn minorities are always finding ways to express their creativity, culture, and values. Heck I say WET would be just what the downtrodden Whites need. The Caucasoid has been held back too long, and his voice needs to be heard. No longer shall the Whites be relegated to MTV, CSPAN, or CBS. They shall create a station for them, by them...WET.

You're in a tizzy about 1 channel?

If we all had tv's with only 1 channel, I could see you having issue with that.

There are 600 other channels to choose from, but if you have such an aversion to us folks, you might want to stay away from UPN, the WB, and ESPN.

You can comfort yourself knowing that the rest channels on regular tv, cable, and the dish have little or no folks like us to make you want to throw a brick at your set.

It all comes down to money and the spirit of an entrepreneurial mindset. Someone saw that there was a market for afrocentric television and they capitalized on it. I am sure that if someone created a televison network for poor whites who live in a rual part of the south, that would sell too. Even blacks would watch it.

I think most of the channels are white entertainment channels...I dont even know why BET is still around...nothing is good/worth watching...I dont think I even have that channel where I live anymore

Well, blacks have been through a lot more than whites have. Whenever we had difficulty with society, it's because we put ourselves in the position...lol. BET was first aired on TV to appereciate there past and to look towards a brighter future...but obviously BET has gone way down from that, right? lol. It's more of who's the biggest rapper now. But anyways, do you get my point?

YES!!!! I always say that and black people get pissed........ At teh clubhouse at my apartment complex, they will put the big screen tv on BET every time...they dont watch any other channel, and i make it a point to turn it because BET is so stupid.....
