"if by "nice" you mean unbearable ******* heat. You can hardly breathe the air its so thick and musty."

Is this true? Btw, I'm from New York where it gets to 95-100 with high humidity every year...so I'm thinking 120 degrees with no humidity is like nothing?

Obviously they aren't from Phoenix because they would know that it barely gets humid here. We get mostly dry heat not counting when its humid during monsoon season.

It does get very hot, but it's much more bearable heat when we have no humidity.

It's not as nice as that in Hawaii. But, it's not that hot either because of the low humidity. Everyone has their own preferences for the kind of weather they like and can stand. What one person think is cold, may be too hot for another and vice versa. Some people just don't like cold weathers and so forth. So, it kind of depends on what you like. I like the weather in Phoenix and think it is nice. It is only hot for 3 months out of the whole year with low humidity and becomes cooler in the remaining 9 months. Besides, most people aren't out in the heat that long as there isn't much to do out there in the heat and it is also a rather spread-out place. Many places are air-conditioned too.

I lived in Phoenix for 26 years, I thought the heat was unbearable, then I moved to the Eastern Shore of Virginia.....Let me tell you...I miss the 110 degree summers!!!!!! When they say "It's a dry heat" there really is a difference!!!!! I cannot tolerate the summers here like I did in AZ!!!!
Took AZ summers for granted, never thought I'd say that in a million years, but I also never lived in humidity before either!!!

During Monsoon Season, which is from July-September (usually), it does get a little more Humid but, nothing compared to NY or Chicago. But, generally speaking the humidity is very low making 110 feel like 90 to you

I live in phoenix, and I lived in Houston, high temps with humidity is unbearable especially since the humidity follows you everywhere. 120 degrees stops at whatever door leads you to air conditioning.

120 degrees with no humidity is still freakin' hot!! However, 90 degrees with no humidity can be a pretty nice day.

dry is better than humid. After 105 degrees who cares. There's no difference between 105 and 115

I lived in Phx x8 years, but grew up in Illinois. The heat is *&#(@in awful 4 months a year. (Thick blow dryer heat) Enough to make you want to leave... but the other 8 months is heavan. Like anything there is good and bad.

Livin' in Texas now.. much more bearable - milder than IL, but not so hot as Phx.
