Signing up for and using MySpace is free. So, as this is the case it would not cost anything to close said free account. Have you ever held a free account anywhere in which it cost something to close it? This is a very odd question indeed. It should be free as a matter of fact you need to go to tom's page and it'll have questions that are always asked and then you'll go from there.

it's free. go under account settings and you should find a text link that says "cancel account"
