You're talking about a nation that elected George Bush as president not once but twice, and they would probably do it three times if they could. Plus Americans are so blinkered, they think they're not just the best, but the only nation on earth. They stuff themselves with disgusting muck and drive around in monster petrol-guzzling cars, and their forces bomb the hell out of any country that dares to stand up to them. Stay where you are!

Great, being one of the only Christian countries in the world is good as is being the chosen country and people of God. Concealed carry laws in Missouri also keep the crime rate low unlike in Europe. We have one little problem, the liberals, and we have managed to get a few to move to Canada but there still several here. Also we are full so stay at home. Oh, and no one believes in the global warming myth that you European liberals have thought up to curtail our economic growth so we get to drive better cars and we have a a world class health system which you don't pay for in Europe but as they say you get what you pay for. I've never been to Europe but as we have Disneyland I can see all of Europe that I want to see on the 'It's a small world ride',

I think it is great! I grew up in Wisconsin, in a rural community, very safe, got a good public education.
Moved to the Washington DC area after graduating from college, and I love it here too! So much culture and diversity.
I have gotten to travel to 29 different states through work, and I love how easy it is to travel in our country.
Now my daughter just started school, and we love her teacher and the school. She has so many opportunities, even more than I did at her age, and it is wonderful.
I love that we can be so involved in our government, and I am very politically active. I work full time, and so does my husband, but we still have time to do things on weekends with friends.
I have also visited England, Ireland, Russia, Poland, Hungary, Mexico and Canada. I was impressed with the people I met in those countries as well.

It's crowded here *smile*...really really crowded and there are cars everywhere. Freeways jammed with them.
There is also an abundance of media throwing sex in your face to sell everything from shampoo to cars to beer. TV, magazines, billboards, radio, it's everywhere.
It's also an amazing place to live, life moves so fast. The weather is lovely and there is plenty of everything you need, if you're lucky enough to have a good job. I think Americans are imaginative, ambitious, clever, compassionate, interesting people. I'm grateful to live here (I'm in so. Calif, that's why I went on so much about the traffic!)

As it is the only country that I have ever lived in, I cannot say without having some sort of reference of comparison. I would say that most of us live in a luxury that we take for granted because we were raised in it. Even our poor families have a car, refrigerator, TV, microwave, and a phone. Compare that to poor people in Sudan and it's like our poor are their super rich.
