Is it just me or is the christian god late?

No, he isn't late, the end of the world actually did occur 1000 years ago (as per the revelation of st. John the divine).
We are what is left.

What do you mean, "is the christian god late"? If you're referring to His return for His people, the Bible says we know not the day or the hour, for He will come with the blink of an eye, and to be prepared at all times because of this. God's timing and our timing is different. The Bible also says "one day to God can be like a thousand years to man", referring to the mega difference in time in Heaven and time here on earth. God wants no one to be left behind upon His return and is giving every possible moment to the lost to turn to Him.

What are you talking about? Late? like for an appointment?
Actually I believe that a commonly held belief of God if that S/He is not temporal, but eternal, hence S/He does not operate in time and can never (by definition) be late. Besides, that would kind of take the shine off the "almighty" part, don't you think?

I like what Gandalf says in the recent, "Fellowship of the Ring" movie,
"Wizards are never late, Frodo Baggins, they always arrive precisely when they mean to."
Or by Little John in an old Bugs Bunny cartoon,
"Never worry, never fear, Robin Hood will soon be here!"

It's not time yet. But it could be at any moment from now. A certain condition needs to be fulfilled, and that hasn't happened yet.

Nopo I thinks its just you thats late.....late at opening your eyes and realizing the blessing that life itself is. Instead money and sex have become of greater importance than what really counts.....thats why this world is like it is.....don't blame God...God doesn't just exsist at one given time.. , He created time.....He was here before , during and will be after.
