I wish I could explain how I do it, it just happens for me when I'm hitting a flat first serve, I guess I twist my wrist in a little more than I expect (I'm not to versed in the technical jargon, I'm sorry). Here's a site for you...

I can't find exactly a site on pronation but I read an article in the last tennis mag I had...I'll add to my answer if I can find it!!

Power serve: Toss slowly to the direction of one o clock and hit as hard as you can. Make contact with the ball in the middle of the racquet. Make contact up high. Do it slowly eventually building up speed and then hit it very hard. You should end up inside the court when you have finished the serve. Slice serve: Best used for second serves. Toss the ball agin to one o clock, but a little back towards you. Use your racquet to slice the ball by coming up behind it. Your racquet should be sort of curving when you hit the ball. Avoid hitting the ball full on, because that will take away the slice. Do it slowly eventually building up speed. OK, so try following my instructions and doing those serves. All I can say now is practise, practise, practise. Trust me, I was just like you when I started tennis. After 5 years of practising and playing the sport I got better and better. You will too.

You have to start your break your wrist to the right after you start your swing from the bent elbow. If you are a righty lead the break with your right thumb. Your elbow should break the same way also. Do not practice while playing doubles , you will drill your partner.
