It has been medically proven that the most dangerous thing about it is it's illegality. AMA study 1992
It has been medically PROVEN that pot does NOT make you dumb, but that it DOES show a temporary decrease in short term memory which goes away once use has stopped. AMA study 1992
There is no proof one way or the other that cannabis is a gateway drug. Correlation does NOT prove causation.
We are in a war on drugs, and the first casualty of any war is truth.

Definitely. This would remove the first rung on the ladder of criminality that the drugs trade is based on. Legalise weed and youngsters are less likely to be hooked by the criminal element in the first place. It should be available in small quantities in retail outlets and cultivation for personal use should also be allowed.

It should be, but there should be a legal age to smoke it. Anything that is legal must have laws to protect people abusing it.

Using cannabis can cause psychosis and schizophrenia. Smoking cannabis does cause cancer and short-term memory loss. Prosecuting and imprisoning users serves little purpose, but if legal, it should be subject to strict control (e.g. licencing/prescription/warnings on packets) and not available over the counter.

yes all drugs should be legal. We could then tax it and take it away from organised crime. The revenue raised could go to help addicts. We have double standards. Drugs may be harmful but so is alcohol and no-one thinks that should be banned.

while I can see your reasoning, and it might even work for some people, we as a society still have to have some rules.
By that same logic, we should legalize all drugs, since so many are doing it anyway.
My your logic, mabye we should legalize murder since so many people seem to be doing it. .
I think not, I think as a society we have to have some rules to live with and what to legalize and what not to legalize isn't up to me.
But I am just pointing out your illogical logic
