Nope, I'm not afraid of anyone, and I am one of those intelligent people you mentioned. No one should be afraid of me, I'm not only smart but a very good person and a wonderful friend to have.

Heck no! because i'm intelligent myself and with intelligence our world is a better place. I feel threatened by stupidity not by intelligence. It's stupidity that makes people do stupid things like kill innocent people! That's threatening! An intelligent person won't kill innocent people just because they are against the government of a nation! Now tell me, do you feel threatened by Osama's stupidity?

First we have to define what you mean by intelligence. I've seen people who have worked with their hands have a large vocational IQ -- I've seen engineers that know their math inside and out. I have also seen folks like their lives, pay their bills and have peace...

IQ test are a hoot. One can always be developed to prove some group is very intelligent - and some group is not.

Point is, I am threatened by ignorance. One can always learn from intelligence -- it is the uneducated and the unmotivated that are the most scary.

I do not feel threatened by intelligent people. But I do become irked when intelligent people (or those who think they are intelligent), act superior or condescending to those who they may consider to be less intelligent. Especially since intelligence is so relative. For example, I have seen intelligent people placed in unfamiliar situations appear not intelligent at all. Some people may be brilliant in their chosen professions or academics, but may be boorish or insensitive in simple social situations.

There are different types of intelligent people out there...most intelligent I know are wonderful people to be around. Lots to learn from...however, I feel threatened by the arrogant, snobbish, bratty ones. You know, like the one's with sociopathic behavior....or really low EQ. (if such a thing)

Not at all! Knowledge is gained through interacting with intelligent people. The thing I fear most is when intelligent people impose on each other their clashing ideas to the point of ending in war or bloodshed.

No. As the old saying goes, they put their pants on one leg at a time, just like me. And intelligence is a poor buttress against stress, which has a way of sanding us all down to near uniformity.

Well I think I am fairly intellgent myself and bit of show of. However if someone was radically more intellegent more than me in field I prided myself on knowing a lot about like say history (as oppose languages or spelling where I know I am crap) it would be frustrating especially if they were being *** about it lol
