If you are not old enough to answer your question yourself, then you are not ready for birth control of any kind and you are definitely not ready for sexual intercourse - not even once!
Your kind of thinking is what is hurting teenagers across the USA and especially among your ethnic group.
There is no good reason for not remaining a virgin until you are married.
There is NO GOOD REASON for not remaining a virgin UNTIL YOU ARE MARRIED.
So - remain a virgin.
If you remain a virgin, then...
...You will not be taking the chance of exposing yourself to sexually transmitted diseases which an either kill you or ruin your life forever. [Just study the ramifications of genital herpes].
...You will not become pregnant with a child you obviously do not want. That means one less Black mother with one less Black child at a time in YOUR LIFE when you need to concentrate on developing your future, not doing things which will ruin your future.
...You will not become a part of the multi-generational welfare class which seemingly cannot move beyond its dependence on the government for the essentials of life.

First of all, how do you know that you only want to have sex one time? Are you doing it on a dare or something like that. Obviously you aren't having sex with a long time boyfriend or even anyone steady so forget about it for now. If you absolutely must have sex then use a condom but make sure it is a good brand. Think about it for a while before you go thru with it. There is much time for sex in the future. You should be focusing on school and friends, music and so many other things right now. Good Luck

Well,hun i am going to say some things before i answer your question.Do not have sex just to keep your boyfriend,to fit in,or because of peer pressure in general.You need to think about all the aspects of sexual intercourse.There is the emotional as well as the physical.Most who have sex at a young age,(mostly females,and some males alike) regret having sex at such a young age.The emotional strain it will put on you,at your age will only confuse you more about being sexually active.The physical aspects of it,you could possibly get std's or possibly even get pregnant.At your age,you definately are not prepared,emotionally,physically,mentally,or financially responsible enough to care for an infant.Having said all that,if you are still wanting to you need to make sure you take proper precautions and protect yourself.You need to go to your gyno or find one in your area.They will more than likely put you on birth control.Now,your asking how long do you take it.You dont stop it,once you take that first pill,continue to do so,it will mess up your menstrual cycle and open a lead way (More so) for pregnancy.Now,birth control isnt 100% effective and does not prevent the contraction of std's, so i would suggest another form of protection along with birth control such as a condom.After saying that,there is no way to have sex without the risks.The only full proof way to protect yourself from std's,pregnancies,and things that come along with sexual intercourse is to not have sex at all.Think about it,never allow anyone to force you and dont feel like you have to because you can say NO.Good luck.

Once you have had sex for the first time, you will discover that you will want it more than just that one time. I know that was the case with me when I started having sex

Use a condom for having sex once, however the innocence is gone forever.
Once that book is opened, you can't go back.
Think very carefully, having sex once still has risks and involves a lot of emotions.

You are a teen. You don't need it. You 0nly want it because other stupid kids are having sex at your age. Save your self for your husband on your wedding night. It is so worth the wait! Good men want to marry virgins.
