In the seventies i read books about Hells Angels, one of which was either called or featured a main character called Chopper.

None of the replies so far seem right, it was a series of novels, quite graphic about life as a hells angel and the initiation, meetings etc.

Hunter S. Thompson wrote books and one was about Hells Angels, however don't remember Chopper, although they were on choppers, sure u're not mixing this up?
