Charcoal is the best

depends on the meat and the taster. In my opinion hamburgers, steaks and hotdogs taste better when seared over a hot gas fire. The gas does not alter the meat's natural flavor and the high temperature seals in the juices. However for larger cuts of meat such as a pork roast or a beef brisket a low burning charcoal or wood fire is the only way to go... low and slow until it's melt in your mouth tender and juicy...mmmmmmmm

Well its a matter of taste, but I and many I know feel that only charcoal gives the flavor of a grill, whereas cooking on gas is like cooking on your kitchen stove....So I vote for Charcoal, but as I said, its a matter of taste, try both and see which you like better.

Gas hands down charcoal gives off bad carbons and makes the food taste terrible.

Charcoal gives more flavor to the food so I guess you can say it taste better. Propane or gas dosn't acually add any flavor to the meat.

charcoal taste better because you can get the difference ummmm....i don't know "flavors" if you will...of charcoal. Like hickory smoked stuff like that....it makes the meat taste more like it's been grilled over wood or more of a "home grown taste" I suppose.

Charcoal. Why cook on gas? If you want to do that, use the oven. BBQ are best done the proper traditional way, burnt food and all.

charcoal taste a lot better but it does take longer to get the grill going....also when you use charcoal you have to make sure the coals have burned all of the lighter fluid off otherwise your food taste like crap

That's a matter of opinion, but without a doubt your food will taste like @ss if you throw it on a charcoal flame that hasn't had time to burn off the starter fluid.
