YES...IT IS FINE...ASK YOUR DOCTOR THEY WILL AGREE. I ASKED MINE SHE SAID "YES AFTER THE FIRST TRIMESTER". SHE TOLD ME "DON'T DO IT REGULARLY THOUGH JUST ONCE OR TWICE AT THE MOST". I HAVE DIED MINE AND EVERYTHING IS OKAY. I ALSO USED "NATURAL INSTINCTS BECAUSE THERE IS NO AMMONIA IN IT AND THAT'S EVEN SAFER.

MAKE SURE IT IS IN A WELL VENTILATED AREA AND WEAR GLOVES. I PROMISE IT WILL BE FINE!

In the pregnancy book " What to expect when you are expecting" it states that there is no proof that the dye causes any real harm, but it has not been proven. It does caution that your hair changes alot during pregnancy and the dye could cause problems with your hair...like you could end up with an odd color or even lose some hair. It could also turn out fine......I guess you'll have to weigh the risks.....

Some people say yes and some say no. Personally my dr. advises against it, as will I for that is how I learned I was pregnant. I died my hair when I was just 4 weeks and it turned orange, then green. I would wait until your hormones aren't as strong so you don't risk the chemical change like I did with the dyes.

It must be in a well venilated area but having said that your hair's chemistry is different when pregnant and will become more brittle after the dying. In the laters weeks of pregnancy many women change their hair and then end up hating. Your best bet is to wait instead of regreting end of pregnacy boredom hair changes.

"The chemicals in permanent and semi-permanent hair dyes are not highly toxic. Most research, although limited, does show that it is safe to colour your hair while pregnant. "

Yes. Go for it. The whole coloring the hair thing while pregnant is an ole wives tale. It will not harm your child at all. You may want to wear a mask as your smell is hightened while pregnant.

Well, I sense you are not sure... I think you should wait. The right person to ask is your Doctor. But, the way I look at it. You waited this long without dying your hair. I think for your baby's safety, you can wait a little longer. Don't you think your baby is worth it?

God bless and Have a healthy baby.

Oh, just wait the month and a half you have left. I remember that time of pregnancy. I was bored with my hair color, my clothes and my fat feet/hands/face/tummy/butt/etc. Anyway, don't risk it, get a radically different haircut instead.

Yes! I seen on this tv show "yummy mummy" on discovery health channel, that it is a myth about dying your hair when you are pregnant. They say it is perfectly fine, but the color may not take, and will be a waste of money.

At this stage i believe it is ok, however each doctor will tell you something different. Talk to your OB at your next check up and they will help you decide. They do have natural hair dyes that use vegetable dye which they may recomend!

Stay beautiful!
