I have gray patent leather pumps that I scuffed......

Awww yes...Many yrs. ago when "My Daughter" was young...The dreaded scuffs on patent leather shoes!!!

Finger nail polish remover, followed by a light coating of Vaseline!!!

When I was young my Mother used Vaseline. It cleared up the scuff and made the shoes shine like wild! I haven't had patent leather shoes in quite a while, so this hasn't been tested recently, but I don't see why it still won't work. Good luck!

i'm in ROTC at my college and we could shine our shoes usual. All you're able to do is get some black shoe polish, interior the can. You can try petroleum jelly- Vaseline, but if the leather is torn, it won't do any good. Buff them with a soft cloth after applying the jelly. I have dome this many times on black patents, so it should work on any color. It does not leave a film since you are buffing it off.

Got this from an Air Force Academy graduate -- non-acetone nail polish remover and a Q-tip. Takes a little elbow grease, but works wonders!

Go to a shoe store and buy the shoe cream that will take it off without a problem and make it shine like brand new. i have shoe cream for all my shoes..really my heelz and fillas
