The lollypop man of my school, and towncrier has recently been imprisoned for sexual abuse on several children that occured 20 years ago. Now, he has been imprisoned for 3 years, I just want to know when he will be released, because when he was "free", he used o hassle me and my three friends. I am worried as to what will happen if he is released. How long do you think he will be in prison, if he is well behaved. The longer the better, I say.

By the way, it wasnt me and my friends he abused, he just used to tell us to go to his office (at school), and follow us around town and such.

He might do 2/3 of the three years if he is good in prison.
After prison he probably will be sent to a secure mental institution until they can figure out if he is safe to be released. You won't be seeing him for quite awhile.

If he has been imprisoned for 3 yaers then he could be out in as little as a year if he really behaves himself inside.
If he hassles you again after his release, then report it to the police.

I see in your link above, that he had to sign the sex offender's register, but he is not banned from working with children when released from prison. Surely that is putting children at risk.

i guess that it depends on the severity first second third degree or what and his behaviour in the prison and i think that if it happened and he was in prison for like 20 years i think that he needs to be in prison for life well i hope that you can move on and get over this

Crimes against children should not be tollerated .
In U.S. they don't get much Jail time either.
