Not necessarily ruined, but the salt in your tears causes the build-up on the lenses to happen much quicker. Clean your lenses as soon as you can after crying. If you usually clean your lenses with an enzyme tablet, use that as soon as possible.

Nope. Contact lenses are designed to work with your eyes' natural moisture, so crying won't harm them. What ruins them is letting them dry out or using something other than contact lens cleaning solution or re-wetting drops to clean them. I have seen people spit on them if they don't have contact lens solution, but I wouldn't recommend that...

no, but depending on your contacts you should change or clean them every day or month. Crying actually helps your contacts stay moist, ala Visine EyeDrops for Contacts. But dont rub your eyes to hard or you rmight end up scratching your cornea and damage your eye.

No because i been wearing contacts for about 3 years non stop with needing them. I wear them for fashion and iu even sleep in them and when i cry it doesnt bother mine. I keep on pair n my eyes n never take them out for more than 5 months or until i get a new color. I dont have any problems sheadin tears and worriying about them coming out or ruining. Alot of air to them will ruin them tho.
